FAQ

When is it time to refill my cartridge?
You have to refill your cartridges before ink in your cartridge completely runs out. Once the cartridge is empty, the ink starts to dry and may clog the nozzle.

How many times can I refill an ink or toner cartridge?
It depends on the cartridge condition. You can refill until your cartridges wear out. In general, you can refill 8 to 10 times with the same cartridge.

Will refilling void the OEM's warranty on my printer?
It is illegal for a printer manufacturer to require you to use any particular brand of supplies. An OEM cannot void your warranty unless they can conclusively prove that other brands of supplies will damage the machine. To enforce a policy such as this is in direct violation of the Sherman & Clayton Antitrust Acts.

What does OEM mean?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. This means the cartridge was manufactured by the same company as the printer.

Do you accept cartridges for recycling?
Ink and Toner Source has a recycling program that is free to you. Contact us for details on how to recycle your cartridges.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I received my ink cartridges, but my printer model is not listed on the cartridge's box. Is it compatible?
Our Refilled cartridges, especially Epson and Canon ink cartridges may have limited room for descriptions, sometimes they are not able to list every printer model. However, if the OEM part # it replaces is found under the printer model you own on the OEM site, we guarantee that they are 100% compatible with that printer. For verification, always feel free to contact us.

My printer no longer works, and I have unopened ink cartridges.
Can I return them?

Yes. Our 100% Guarantee policy, all unopened ink cartridges can be returned for refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase. Shipping both ways will not be refunded.

My new ink cartridges do not seem to be working correctly.
What can I do?
  • Make sure you have removed the plastic clip/Blue tape from the new ink cartridge.
  • Check to see that the cartridge is placed in the correct carriage example: Black in the black, color in the color, Cyan in the cyan etc.
  • Re-calibrating your printer sometimes is a good way to clean up or fix cartridge issues. Most printers allow you to do this by going into your Tools/Options in your printers menu.
  • If these options were no help, contact us for more suggestions. If necessary a new replacement cartridge will be shipped to you.
